Asymmetry & Balance
“Equilibrium is the most beautiful right before it collapses.”– Fishli & Weiss
This series of sculptures incorporates everyday objects found both in my mother’s kitchen and the family store room while growing up in India. The balancing act brings together objects that make for unusual pairings, but in this instance create perfect equilibrium. Through this series, asymmetry and balance are achieved while lending to structures that ultimately build themeslves.
