Architecture Core 03: INTEGRATE Studio

Design proposal for National Science Foundation (NSF) Building in Boston, MA. (NSF: independent government agency that has promoted scientific research and exchange since the 1950s.)

The proposal reconsiders traditional hierarchies present in the scienctific industry. By using cell-like forms, the architecture focuses not only what is inside the space, but the “in-between” space, introducing an inside–outside relationship between site & the building itself. The interaction with spaces - some of which are larger than others allow for different kinds of privacy and intimacy; some more public than others, and some more private.
